For Visiosphere, I wanted to see how far I could push animated grain. The idea was to capture that tactile, old-ink look, but do it entirely digitally. ① I built a simple layout with a mix of different elements just so I could experiment with how the grit reacted to different shapes. ② I included a main title where every single letter has its own individual entrance animation. ③ Everything was designed directly inside After Effects. Creating the shapes right there meant I could control the grain and noise natively without relying on heavy external assets. It was a great lesson in keeping things simple, it just goes to show how much heavy lifting good texture and timing can do for a minimal layout.

[ THE CONCEPT ]

To get that gritty animated look, I relied heavily on the Roughen Edges effect to texture the shape borders, paired with a Dissolve blending mode setup to handle the grainy gradients and shadows.
